Update from Carriage Driving Queensland

We had a very successful competition at AELEC Tamworth in October.  At the same event, four of the Qld Carriage Driving Committee members attended and qualified as Carriage Driving Course Designers, in a course conducted by Dr Wolfgang Asendorf (GER).

Results for the two FEI 1* events :

Dressage and Cones - Kurt Dillmann (Qld) came third overall in single horse( Didn't place in the dressage , but won the cones) Tracie Borg (Qld) won the pony pairs

Combined Marathon - Kurt Dillmann won, Jack Murphy second (Qld),David Rozynski  (Qld) came third ( single horse). Tracie Borg won the pony pairs

Unofficial Marathon - Lindsey Vagg (Qld) won single horse. Tracie Borg won pony pairs.

All Qld drivers are now qualified to drive in FEI 2* events. So we are on the way...

Qld drivers also had several lessons with Boyd Excel - the stand out lesson was Tracie Borg with her team of ponies. Boyd was very impressed with them and with Tracie's driving skills.

Had a great time and it certainly put Qld 'on the map' so to speak. It was a great way to finish the year!
