Equestrian Queensland (EQ) was pleased to support the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show and the 2023 Festival of Showjumping from 16 June to 25 June 2023 with 8 days of jumping competition which included the new EQ Jackpot series. 

The EQ Jackpot, with a total prize pool of $15,000, included 3 divisions (Senior, Young Rider and Junior) with 3 rounds.  The first round was held at the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show and the second and third rounds at the Festival of Showjumping. Points for the series were based on the number of eligible participants in all three rounds/classes in each category. 

Equestrian Queensland thanks the organising committees from the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show and the Queensland Showjumping Club - Festival of Showjumping for their support of this new initiative and we look forward to growing the series in 2024.

Eligibility 

• Riders must be an EQ Competitive Member.

• Horses must be EQ Life Registered with a Jumping Licence.

• Combinations must participate in all 3 rounds in either of the Senior, Young Rider or Junior divisions (see below for more details).

Points

Points will be based on the number of eligible participants in all three rounds/classes in each category.

The top three overall with the highest accumulated points across all 3 rounds will be awarded the following prize money.
