EQ welcomes Katie Bickford to its board of directors

Equestrian Queensland is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Bickford to the board of directors.

Mrs Bickford is an Australian Institute of Management Fellow with a professional career spanning more than twenty years in executive management across both public and private sectors including advising on strategy, risk and reputation, stakeholder engagement and brand marketing.

‘Katie has a proven track record in sport governance as a director of the Australian Baseball Federation for more than seven years and the first female company director of the Brisbane Broncos’ said Equestrian Queensland Chairman, David Finch.

Originally from Western Queensland, Mrs Bickford (nee Parker) is a former equestrian coach, judge and competitor at national and international level and more recently she was instrumental in the $3 billion RNA redevelopment.

‘Her remarkable experience will provide an invaluable contribution to Equestrian Queensland’.
