Judiciary Panel EOI
Equestrian Queensland is calling for EOI’S for those wishing to be involved in the EQ Judiciary Panel.
The Judiciary panel are a delegated authority by the Board of Equestrian Queensland, whose role is to independently consider judicial evidence and present findings and any subsequent recommendations.
The Judiciary Panel is made up on Equestrian Queensland members, who fit the following critieria:-
- Technical knowledge in relation to an Equestrian Queensland disciplines
- Experience in conflict resolution and/or the application of principles of natural justice
- Knowledge of the EA Rules, EA Disciplinary By-laws and EA Disciplinary Tribunal Procedure and Protocol
- Highest integrity
Structure
The Judiciary Panel will report to the Equestrian Queensland board (via the CEO). All Judiciary panel members will have equal voting rights, however, it will be the responsibility of the Chair to arrange all communications between the panel and to then provide recommendations to the Equestrian Queensland CEO.
Appointment Process
The Judiciary Panel will be appointed for a period of 2 years and is a voluntary position.
Those wish to be considered for the EQ Judiciary panel will be required to submit their EOI outlining their knowledge of the sport, positions that are currently or have been held previously to Matt Helmers [email protected] by COB Thursday 14 January, 2016.
