ABOUT THE ROLE
Equestrian Queensland currently has an exciting opportunity available for someone wanting to pursue a career in the business industry.
As the successful applicant, you will:
- Be employed by AFL SportsReady
- Work on-site with Equestrian Queensland
- Study for an accredited qualification: Certificate III Business
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the first to respond to incoming phone calls, deal with all enquiries where appropriate

Providing excellent customer service members via phone, email and face to face

Process memberships/horse registration, upload sport discipline results, and complete entry checks for events

Facebook and website updates
-
Assist other staff members with other administration duties as and when required
SELECTION CRITERIA
- A permanent right to work in Australia
- Previous reception or administration experience preferable
- Dedication to pursuing a career in the industry, with involvement in the equestrian community highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills including the Microsoft Suite
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work within and contribute to a team
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Pride and passion in your desire to contribute to the long term success of Equestrian Queensland, by demonstrating our core Values
- Currents Drivers Licence and ability to pass Police Criminal Record Check essential
