RM Equestrian Centre Express Event Success

After initial plans were interfered with by 320ml of rain, the postponed RM Equestrian Centre's (RMEC) Ariat Express Event Weekend was then held on 23 - 24 April 2022 and a great success with over 200 entries for the weekend which included Saturday's Interschool Qld (IQ) show jumping and dressage qualifier competitions, the jumping starting at 60cm and up to 1.15m.

The Express Eventing was held on Sunday 24 April, which attracted 80 entries and was especially a fun day encouraging new riders. Each rider and horse combination completed their dressage then later they had cross country followed by show jumping.

RM Equestrian's cross country course had been recently designed with the help of Anthony Freeman and Darryl Burgess over the last 4 months. Technical Deligate (TD) Katja Sykes travelled from Nana Glen for the event and kept everything running smoothly.  All were extremely happy with how the cross country rode, providing horses with enough questions without being over faced in classes from 50cm to 1.05m. RMEC's plan is develop a 2 star track to be added hopefully by the end of the year.
