Notice of AGM and Voting of EQ Board and Sport Committees - VOTING CLOSED

Equestrian Queensland (EQ) has now available a “Digital Ballot Paper” for the 2015 Equestrian Queensland Board and Sport Committees and now invites current EQ financial members to vote on their sport of choice. The "Digital Ballot Paper" will ONLY be accepted from current EQ financial Members (excluding Competitor - Juniors, EA/PCA Dual Juniors and Participant Junior Members).

All categories of members (except junior) are eligible to vote for Equestrian Queensland and the Sport Committee’s.  Please indicate your selection, listing numerically in order of preference for the number of positions being elected eg, 1 against your first preference, 2 against your second preference and 3 against your third preference.  If you strike out candidates or do not list preferences for all candidates in your chosen sport committee, your ballot will be deemed INVALID.

The nominations closed for the Board and the Sport Committees on Thursday 5 February 2015.  As such, elections will be contested for positions on the EQ Board, Dressage and Vaulting Sport Committees. In relation to the Sport Committees not mentioned it is correct to assume that there were only sufficient nominations to cover the vacant positions required (2 positions were available on each of the Sports Committees and 2 positions available on the Equestrain Queensland Board).  Therefore, no election will be conducted for those Committees.   Persons elected shall hold office for a period of 3 years.

No nominations were received for the 2 positions vacant on the Jumping Queensland Committee.
