Wild Card Nominations for QI3DE
Talent scouts were out again at the recent Maryborough ODE.
There were some very classy performances over genuine jumping courses at FCHT.
The following combinations were identified:
- In the Introductory Class Kate Laughton on Big Valley improved on her 7th at Tamborine .By producing faultless cross country and show jumping rounds coupled with a respectable dressage test she gained nomination.
- At Preliminary level, Sarah Corr riding Cushavon Ego Magic also improved on her Tamborine 8th to win this class. A supplementary nomination at this level also went to Annika Werny on Balmoral Dr Magic for an outstanding dressage test ridden as a junior.
- The Pre-novice saw Jess Somerfield continuing her campaign with Sharellan Gambol as she consolidated with another placing at this level.
On-going performances of previous nominees included Madison Hose and Swashbuckler leaving no doubt as to where she is headed by elevating her 5th. at Tamborine to a first at FCHT. Senior riders beware of this kid’s dressage.
Tanya Schmidt stepped up a gear with both her horses to Pre-Novice with Kinnordy Rhondo pipping Cera Rialto this time. Waiting to see your next decision Tanya.
Tamborine on March 15th/16th is your next chance to impress.
