EQ Board & Sport Committee Appointments
Voting for the vacant director positions on the Equestrian Queensland Board closed yesterday, 4 March 2019, 4:30pm.
Equestrian Queensland (EQ) is pleased to announce that Nicholas Ballard, Jacqui Huppert and Corey Keable were elected to join the Board of Directors at the AGM.
‘We received nominations from six outstanding candidates and the membership have voted in three new directors. The new directors bring skills and experience that complement and enhance the current skill set of the existing board members,’
EQ Chairman, David Finch said.
Nicholas Ballard has a proven track record with his involvement in Interschool Queensland as Chairperson and National Interschool Representative, along with buisness management and customer service experience.
Jacqui Huppert is not only a Grand Prix dressage rider, having trained numerous horses to FEI, an A level dressage judge and EA coach, she has 13 years in health care, investigating ways to improve health, conduct and performance.
Corey Keable provides a background in business and finance, along with experience in the horse industry as a professional event rider, level 2 eventing coach and now as a parent.
EQ would like to congratulate the new directors on their appointment and look forward to working with them to further equestrian sport in Queensland.
