DID YOU KNOW? SPORT DEVELOPMENT FUNDING
24% of respondents that completed our 2019 EQ Member Survey did not know Equestrian Queensland (EQ) offered Sport Development Funding to Clubs to assist with hosting Rider Development Clinics and Judge Education Clinics.
EQ has many grants and subsidies available to affiliated clubs, sporting committees and individual members. On a scale of benefits, our survey showed that the 4th most important benefit was Subsidised Development Opportunities (e.g. clinics/workshops).
In 2019, EQ provided over $220,000 through various funding programs which support rider development, official and coach education, events and safety initiatives for regional clubs and affiliates. We are also pleased, that through effective financial management over a number of years, we have been able to increase the amount of funding available in 2020.
