2020 Pryde's EasiFeed Interschool Queensland State Championships Event Wrap
Despite having to cancel the 2020 Australian Interschool Championships (Nationals) being held in Toowoomba, the Interschool Queensland committee worked tirelessly through the outbreak of COVID-19 to ensure when competitions were able to return, that all riders and schools had the opportunity to meet the qualifications to participate in the 2020 Pryde's EasiFeed IQ State Championships.
Over 300 riders and a huge variety of horse breeds (385 horses in total) were at Toowoomba Showgrounds for the 2020 Pryde's EasiFeed IQ State Championships that included 6 days in total of competition held over 2 weeks featuring the 5 disciplines of Dressage, Show Horse, Show Jumping, Combined Training and Eventing.
Competitors travelled from as far North as Cairns and as far West as Charleville and families have taken home good memories and lifelong friends.

While many riders and schools competed at their first IQ State Championships, we sadly had to wave good bye to our Year 12 riders as it was their last. We wish them farewell and all the best with their future endeavours and we hope to see them continue their equestrian pursuits.

It is very unfortunate that this year due to COVID-19, those that achieved a Top 4 place overall in Nationally recognised classes will not have the opportunity to represent Interschool Queensland, the Mighty Maroons.
