2014 Queensland Amateur Showjump Rider of the Year Series

Amateur riders make up a large percentage of competitors in the showjumping sport.  The aim of the series is promote and reward our Amateur showjumping  riders for consistent results throughout the year. This annual series of qualifying rounds was run throughout the calendar year in QLD at variety of Showjumping events and Agricultural shows.  

The 2014 Series was proudly sponsored by a small group of companies whose goals are to always encourage and support  the Amateur rider in showjumping  – Finch Farm, Mi-Helicopters, Saddleworld Rockhampton and Equimec . These sponsors supported the series with prizemoney and prizes for the competitors for each of the rounds.

The top 10 placing riders were allocated points in each round which was conducted over a 1.15m class at a series of shows during the year. The winner was the rider with the highest points at the end of the year. Riders could only earn points once in each round.
