Dressage Queensland Riders' Sub-Committee (DQRSC) is under the umbrella of Dressage Queensland and its purpose is to conduct competitions of behalf of DQ at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC).

The Dressage Qld Riders' Sub-Committee was formed in late 2012 with a view to addressing the issue of declining numbers of FEI level competitions in Qld.  An aim that everyone on the committee agreed upon was that these competitions were to be relaxed, fun and friendly.  The competitions were also aimed at not only providing top level competition for our already established FEI combinations but to encourage those riders breaking into the FEI ranks.  The quality of the arenas and facilities were of the utmost importance, and, as DQRSC don't have a home ground, the Queensland State Equestrian Centre was booked to accommodate this goal.

The committee decided early on to incorporate Medium to Advanced into their regular competition programme as these grades prove to be fundamental stepping stones for both rider and horse in determining if they can move forward towards FEI.  The committee is also regularly involved in hosting shadow judges and judge assessment days.
