2024 Interschool Queensland SEQ Regional Championships - Event Wrap
The Queensland State Equestrian Centre was the venue for the 2024 Interschool Qld SEQ Regional Championships which were held 19 April - 21 April 2024. The original event was planned to be conducted over the Easter long weekend and unfortunately had to be postponed until April due to rain. This event was once again a great success with the strong support of interschool families, the Friday and Saturday enjoyed good weather however riders on Sunday faced some challenging conditions at times, with just under 200 riders representing over 90 schools in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage, Combined Training and Show Horse.
Thank you is not enough for the group of volunteer event organisers who gave up their time to organise the first event and then had to turn around and do it all again in three weeks time. Big thanks to: Rob Benefield, Adele Blissett, Catrina May, Vanessa Lyall, Saasha Greeney, Lani Pickard, Vanessa Brown, Danielle Little, Melissa Jones & Rick Roederer. We would also like to publicly thank Kay Paulsen with all her help organising dressage officials for both events!
