2015 Sport Development Funding Programs NOW OPEN

The Equestrian Queensland Sport Development Funding program provides funds to respective affiliated organisations and EQ Sport Committees to support organisational and participation development, with the aim of increasing participation, membership and bettering the sport of Equestrian.

There are three programs available in 2015 targeting specific group. Please see the below overview of each program.

Program 1

Aim: 

To assist in club growth & rider development

  Open to: EQ Sports Committees & affiliated clubs in the disciplines of Eventing, Jumping & Dressage
  Amount of Funding: $750 per application for Sports Committees and affiliated clubs $1000 per application for Premium Clubs
  Key Dates: Round 1: Open for events conducted between Jan 1 - June 30
    R1 application close COB 6 March
    R1 follow up paperwork due 7 August
    Round 2: Open for events conducted between July 1 - Dec 4
    R2 application close COB 7 August
    R2 follow up paperwork due  4 December

Program 2

Aim: 

To assist individual eligible coaches and officials attend EA/FEI endorsed upgrade or refresher courses ('excellence')

  Open to: qualified and current EA NCAS & NOAS personnel
  Amount of Funding: Funding is limited to $250 per application
    Please note: after the initital application any additional application from the same individual will be held in the EQ office and assessed in November 2015. These applications will be based on merit and the amount of funding that remains
  Key Dates: Program open 1 January 2015 and closes 4 December 2015

Program 3

Aim: 

To assist in the growth and development of officials in Queensland

  Open to: EQ Sports Committees (all 7 disciplines)
  Amount of Funding: Funding is limited to $500 per application
  Key Dates: Funding program open 1 Janauary and closes 4 December 2014
