2024 County Saddlery Interschool Queensland State Championships Wrap

The 2024 County Saddlery Interschool Qld State Championships were held in Toowoomba at the end of June. This year's event was one of the biggest yet and very strongly supported with well over 250 riders and more than 330 horses participating in Dressage, Jumping, Show Horse and Combined Training over the 5 days of competition. We were very lucky, the Toowoomba weather was very mild over the five days!

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank our two major sponsors for this event; County Saddlery Australia & High Country Rural, your support ensures the ongoing success of this event.

Thank you to our discipline sponsors; EAC Animal Care (Dressage) Edwards Saddleworld (Jumping) WestVETS Animal Hospitals (Combined Training) and Johnson's Natural Formula (Show Horse), your support is truly appreciated.

We also had many sponsors this year that all contributed to the success of the event; Horseland ToowoombaCavaleira EquestrianFairholme College, Horse & Co Dayboro, Aussie Blue Heeler Products, Favco, Cheval Liberte the Label, Equissage Qld (Lucie), Stance Equitec, Kohnke's Own, Toowoomba Grammar School, Australian Industry Trade CollegeOMG Equestrian, Tack Track, Hampton & Harlow Equestrian, Boutique Equestrian ApparelQuast Metal Fabrication, Lara TweedieThe Horse Den & Arcadia (Anderson Family). Please, in turn, support our sponsors.

For her amazing media coverage of the event, a big thank you to Abbey Conlan - The Fika Effect.

Also a massive shout out to every member of the IQ committee and volunteers that worked many hours leading up to and during the event (and after!), we would like to take this opportunity to recognise their commitment and thank them all for their effort and time. Without you, we would simply not have an event!

There would be no event without our Officials; we would like to thank our Judges, Course Designers, Stewards and Technical Delegate across the many disciplines for their time and expertise. Your input and guidance are greatly valued.

Wishing all the year 12 riders all the very best with their future equestrian endeavours and look forward to seeing some of you take advantage of the Coaching or Official pathways in Equestrian Sport. We would also like to recognise your participation and contribution to Interschool Queensland events and activities over previous years. We invite you to register to receive a Certificate of Recognition for your contribution to IQ via this LINK

Congratulations to all riders, horses and schools!
