CANCELLATION OF 2015 QI3DE
The 2015 Queensland International Three Day Event has been cancelled due to issues with the privately-owned Noosa Equestrian Centre.
QI3DE chairman Dr Cameron Osborne said the organising committee was extremely disappointed that the event would not proceed in 2015 due to circumstances entirely beyond its control.
“The committee has worked hard over the past eight months to deliver an elite event for riders and a full program of entertainment for spectators at a new venue on Queensland’s sunshine coast.
“We appreciate the impact this will have across the eventing community and want to assure competitors and supporters alike that we remain committed to developing and promoting international level equestrian eventing competitions,” Dr Osborne said.
“The committee would like to thank the sponsors who have supported us in the planning and organisation of the event, as well as the many people who have volunteered their time, expertise and efforts,” he said.
