Height certificate rule change to be deferred
The Australian Dressage Committee (ADC) wishes to advise that a rule change planned for 2016, regarding height certificates for ponies will be deferred until 2017.
After consultation and feedback from members, the State Dressage Authorities and EA State Branches, as well as a decision by EA to review its EA Measuring Rules, the ADC has decided to defer the rule change for at least 12 months.
This means that there will be no change in 2016 to section 1.15.7 (heights of Horses and Ponies) of EA’s Dressage Rules.
However it is likely that In 2017, competitors will be required to provide a current EA height certificate in order for a pony to be issued a dressage performance card/competition licence.
