2014 EQ Vaulting Horse/Vaulter Award Criteria

Competitor Vaulter of the Year: To be awarded to the vaulter with the highest averaged score in a competitive Individual Class

Competitor Squad of the Year: To be awarded to the Squad with the highest averaged score in a competitive Squad Class

Competitor Pas de Deux of the Year: To be awarded to the Pas De Deux with the highest averaged score in competitive Pas de Deux Class

Horse & Lunger of the Year: To be awarded to the horse/lunger combination with the highest averaged horse score

Participant Vaulter of the Year: To be awarded to the vaulter with the highest averaged score in a participant Individual Class

Participant Squad of the Year: To be awarded to the Squad with the highest averaged score in a participant Squad Class

Participant Pas de Deux of the Year: To be awarded to the Pas de Deux with the highest averaged score in a participant Pas de Deux Class.

• Vaulters/Horses/Lungers must be current (2014) EQ members/EQ registered to be considered for any award.
• Scores will be taken from the following three committee-sanctioned events;

Ella Springs Competition (6/4/14)

Fassifern Competition (7-8/6/14)

QLD State Championships (4,5,6/7/14)

• Vaulters must attend the three events for their scores to be considered.
• In each award category, the three highest scores obtained at these events will be averaged to determine the Award winner.
• The Pas De Deux must consist of the same combination to be considered.
• A record of scores to be kept by the committee and the results in each category to be decided at an EQ Vaulting committee meeting in late 2014.
• If any of these are cancelled it is up to the committees discretion to change the number of events
• Final decisions made at the discretion of the committee
• If a vaulter moves from pre novice to novice throughout the year it still gets counted for the lower grade (pre novice)
• Squad awards at least 4 of the members have to be the same for all events.
• Events can be added at the discretion of the Vaulting committee
