Queensland Betts on Australian Team

Jean Betts from Fassifern Vaulting has been selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Vaulting Championships 2017 in Edreichsdorf, Austria from the 2nd to 6th of August.

Jean has been selected in the Individual Junior Female and leaves this week to spend 2 weeks training in England before travelling to the competition.

Fellow Queenslanders, Darryn & Melanie Fedrick have been appointed as Chef de Quipe and FEI Permitted Treatment Veterinarian for the championships respectively while 2014 EQ Officiator of the Year Angie Deeks will form part of the Ground Jury for the event.

The only other Australian vaulter is Kieran Halliday from Western Australia who will be competing in the Junior male category.

This is the second time Jean has represented Australia as she was a member of the Australian Squad that competed at WEG 2014.
